Are you looking for a shared flat that will welcome you warmly, where you are not obliged yet able to take part in common activities and where you have the freedom to do your own thing and still be part of a small family? Then you don't have to look anymore!

Because we are looking for a new active, social but considerate roommate (about 25+) for our unique shared modern apartment in Zürich Oerlikon! The location is perfect 10-15 minutes to the train station Oerlikon from where you are not only everywhere in Zurich within minutes, but also long distance trains take you directly to many destinations.

Your bright room with direct balcony access towards a quiet neighborhood (without street) has morning sun and is spacious (around 24 qm) yet cosy. The fully equipped flat on the sixth floor (with modern elevator) offers a dishwasher, its own washing machine and 2 bathrooms which is quite handy.

For the lazy ones, there is a bus stop in front of the building where you can get to the train station within 3 minutes. The bus leaves every 3-4 minutes. Or take the bike to catch the train in 10 minutes.

Within walking distance you are at Coop, Migros, Denner, Aldi or Lidl and we have almost around the corner a gas station and a Coop Pronto which is open until late, for the nightly Ben and Jerry's attacks.

A small river, park with a small lake and forests you can reach within minutes giving you enough sports and leisure opportunities.

But why is the Place so unique?
First of all, we have a spacious and bright apartment, a big balcony with a cosy lounge and above all, the best flatmates (in their best age 25-41 - non-students).
These are Giovanna - an Italian gold smith, in her spare time she likes to do sports and look after her plants.
There is Eva from Slovenia, working in a tech start-up and busy with her studies.
And then there is Yves from Switzerland - Mr. Nature, Organization and positive on-the-way-Minimalist and you can find him in his spare time in the mountains or at some lakes!
We try to keep it an English speaking flat (also as to practice) so it's important you are comfortable with this! We are all quiet busy and out and about so not a good family replacement, but still social and like to share moments and thoughts.

So if you think you fit in here with us, are a lively and active roommate, have something to tell but can also listen but respect your flat mates and quiet times and you are "rather" clean and neat than the other way around and are still looking for a great room with nice views. Do you like to cook together once in a while, watch a movie together in winter, go out or join for a hike? Our interests are broad, into self development, freelancing, yoga, nature, hiking, sports, food, parties and traveling and much moreIt is definitely not a students flat so we are quite at 10pm and party mostly outside ;)

Furniture: the room has furniture to sell basically all you can see in the picture acc. to seperate agreement. Take over everything - no furniture moving or shopping

The boring business facts: The rent is warm and includes water and heating. Count with additional living costs of about CHF 40 (electricity, internet and cleaning stuff) Non-Smoking flat but allowed on the balcony. You should be fine if rooms get rented out temporary also for short periods which also allows you to sublet if you are traveling. Also you should be fine living with a cat or dog (just in case, we do not have pets at the moment, except we take care of a very calm dog for a few weeks a year) Deposit of 3x the rent. For cleaning and household duties we have a schedule which you are expected to follow actively without being reminded.
